Manuka Hut, Hakatere Conservation Area, May 27 and 28th, Topo map BX 19, Grade moderate.

I plan to start our walk from Lake Heron car park, walking past Double Hut and onto Manuka Hut -approximately 12 km in total.  As this is on the Te Arora trail we will need to take tents as it can be quite popular at times.
