Following-on from the talk we had at our May club meeting, where we heard about the activities of the Friends of Claremont Bush, those present agreed that it would be a good idea for the club to help with their weeding programme.

We have offered to help out on the afternoon of Saturday 10 June.  As well as helping with weeding you will also be able to walk the circuit track through the area.  Bring suitable tools with you (e.g. secateurs, loppers, grubber, spade etc.) and possibly a container for collecting the weeds.

So that we have an indication of numbers, please give Hazel, a call on 021 1705622 if you will be coming along.  We will most likely meet at Aorangi Stadium at 1:00 pm and travel from there.
