This trip will involve walking up to the recently renovated Whitehorse Reserve behind Waimate township, then continue walking across the hills and down to Studholmes Bush, finishing at the carpark on the Waimate Gorge road.

It will be a full day’s walking (5 to 6 hours), with good views over Waimate and the surrounding countryside.
