There will be a bike trip next Saturday along the Stour River track, near Mt Somers in Mid-Canterbury.

Starting from the carpark on Ashburton Gorge Road, the Conservation Area is reached after 3 km.  The plan is to continue along the track to Lake Emily and Manuka Hut (17 km), and then return the same way.  The track follows the river.
