A new section of the trailway that will eventually link Timaru and Tekapo was opened earlier this year.  This section goes from Rockwood Road (near Albury) to Fairlie and is approximately 10 km long.

Hazel will be taking a walk along this new section on Tuesday 15 September. This will be an “out and back” trip, so you will only have to go as far as you wish.
