This walk is near Fairlie. It is 18.7 km following the Opihi river and into the gorge. There are wires and ropes to use to transverse down some parts. The track is narrow in places but stunning.
To make transport easier I am hoping to have two parties, each starting at opposite ends of the track. The trip will take at least six hours, so a good level of fitness will be required.
