You’ve heard of the “Alps to Ocean” bike trail.  Over the last few years the club has completed all (or almost all) of its sections.  Well, now it’s time to start doing it the other way round and see how things look going that way!

Staring at the usual finishing point (Oamaru waterfront) we will bike 54 km to Duntroon.  The ride will take us through a variety of scenery – towns, gardens, farmland, roads, open country – with a mixture of flat bits and hilly sections.  Given the distance, a reasonable level of bike-fitness will be required – unless you will be on an e-bike!

This will bean all-day event, with some time taken shuttling vehicles at the start and finish.
