This is a short loop track in the Maungati area, just off Back Line Road. It is equally suitable for beginners and those with more experience.

The track zig-zags and climbs along the side of the valley, has an undulating section, drops down to a waterfall, then has a short climb up to a knob which provides a good stopping place for lunch. After that it is all downhill back to the carpark.

Total walking time is around two to three hours.
