Mt Melville has been described as a “nicely rounded hill in front of Mt Dobson”.  Grand views are said to be obtained from its summit (1193 metres).  It is not named on the map, but its height is shown.

This trip has been organised for the Methven Tramping Club by one of our members, Louise, who is also in the MTT.  Any SCTC members who wish to take part in this trip are most welcome to do so.
