They don’t get much easier than this! The longest part of this trip will be driving there and back.

A nice, easy, almost completely flat walk (8.4 km, 3 hours each way) to a lovely lake 5km east of Springs Junction. The rebuilt Manson-Nicholls Hut at the lake has 20 bunks and requires bookings – so speak to the trip organiser about this.

Years ago (i.e in the Olden Days) there was a leaky rowboat there that you could paddle around in – though not too far from the shore! Needless to say, the Health and Safety Police have probably put an end to that bit of fun.
