This trip unfortunately had to be cancelled at short notice.  It is hoped that it can be run at another time.

Celebrate King’s Birthday weekend by tramping in this lovely valley up past the head of Lake Ohau.

At this stage the plan is to go to Huxley Forks Hut on the first day, and maybe go on to Brodrick Hut the next day, then out to the vehicle(s) on the third day.  The alternative plan is to have two nights at Huxley Forks Hut, allowing a day to explore around that area, before coming out on the third day.  The decision made will depend on the number of other people in the area and the wishes of those in the party.
