This new hut, which replaces one destroyed by fire, was to be officially opened in August, but the event was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions.

One of our Life Members, Robert B., who very generously helped with the funding for this replacement 12-bunk hut will be taking this trip.

The intention is to walk up the Binser valley for about 5 hours on the Saturday, camp out for the night, then continue on for about 4 hours to the Casey Hut the next day.  On the Monday, the plan is to walk out via Andrews Stream.

This should be a great trip.  A reasonable level of fitness will be necessary.
