Bush Stream is one of the side-streams you cross over near the head of Lake Pukaki on your way to Mt Cook.

The plan is to follow the route up the stream for 2 to 3 hours, have lunch in a suitable spot, and then return.

Due to the driving distance involved an early (6:30) start will be necessary, but this will be compensated for by a compulsory ice-cream stop on the way home (if the shops are still open!).
