Bauchops (Beauchops?) Hill Station is in the Rollesby Valley near Burkes Pass.  The Trip Leader,  Dorothy, has been in contact with the farm owner who has very kindly agreed to let us walk across his farm land on this day. The station is accessed from the Rollesby Valley Road which runs from Burkes Pass to the Mackenzie Pass Road.
From the farmhouse we will cross a small stream (no wet feet) and climb a little to reach a 4WD track that will take us to the top of the Rollesby Range at around 1200m. It is a steady climb but a ‘there and back’ trip so one could go part way if preferred.
From the top of the range it should be possible to get good views in all directions, especially over the Mackenzie Country.
