Acland Shelter is about half-way along the track that runs across the South Face of Mt Somers.

From the carpark at the Staveley end of the track, walk to the shelter (for lunch?), then return to the carpark.  This will be a long day, with a good mixture of uphill, flat and downhill sections.  A good level of fitness will be required.
