Our much-anticipated and eagerly-awaited social event of the year takes place on the weekend of June 13th and 14th.

Join us for a weekend of fun, food, rest, relaxation, tall stories and maybe a bit of physical activity!

This year we will be at the Atwill Park scout camp near Waimate.  We have the place for one night – arriving around noon on Saturday and leaving on Sunday.

Numbers are limited, as only 30 are permitted to stay overnight.  If you are thinking of coming make sure to let Hazel by – Monday 8 June to ensure there will be a place and an evening meal for you.

An club has an information sheet about the venue and what you need to bring.  Copies of this will be sent to all those intending to take part.

Catherine has very kindly offered to bring the main course for the Saturday evening meal and Justine has promised a special dessert.  Costs for these will be shared amongst those attending.  If anyone has special dietary needs they should let the club know.  You will need to bring your own breakfast and lunch, plus nibbles and drinks.

The cost for the venue is $100, plus $10 per person staying overnight.  Again, these costs will be shared amongst those attending.

The camp is very near Kelceys Bush, so some nice easy bush walks are nearby.  As we will be close to Waimate the Whitehorse Walk and the new biking track through the gorge will also be handy, so bring your boots and/or bikes.
