SUMMARY:Gammack Conservation Area: Overnight Trip
DESCRIPTION:The Gammack Range sits between Jollie and Cass Rivers (near Mt Cook)\, and the Gammack Conservation Area is public land. \nThe plan is to drive up early Saturday morning\, walk past Jollie Hut (3 km in on the eastern side of Lake Pukaki)\, then continue walking a further 8 km up the valley and stay in the Green Point Hut. \nGreen Point Hut was originally part of Braemar Station and was a mustering hut.  It has six bunks and is often used by hunters\, so tents will also be carried. \nOn Sunday we will walk back out to the vehicle. \nMap: Topo map BY 16\nGrade: Moderate\nTrip Organiser: Catherine 027 716 3518
