SUMMARY:February Club Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly meetings will kick-off for the year on Monday 13 February. Taking advantage of the nice long evenings and mild weather we will go for a walk round Claremont Bush\, rather than meeting at the hall. Start time will be 7:30 pm. The track is short and easy\, so this will be a good way to ease yourself back into things. The weather looks as though it will be kind to us\, but if you are unsure ring or text 021 08293331 to check. \nDirections: Go right up Fairview Road and turn left onto Holme Station Road. Follow this down the zig-zag and take the first right (Claremont Bush Road). The carpark and track entrance is about 1 km along the road. \nFor those wanting to share transport I suggest you meet at the Aorangi Stadium carpark on Morgans Road at 7:00 and sort it out amongst yourselves.

SUMMARY:Chetwynd Conservation Area (Fairlie area) - Day Trip
DESCRIPTION:This area is 6 km southwest of Fairlie\, on the slopes of the Albury Range.  The track starts on an easement across farm land\, then climbs\, offering good views over the Fairlie Basin and towards the Southern Alps.  The trip will most likely be out and back via the same route\, though a round trip may be possible (providing the necessary approvals can be arranged beforehand). \nLeader: Catherine 027 7163518\nGrade: Easy to Moderate \nMap references: BZ17 BZ18
